These events are organised at locations across the country. The timing and location are arranged according to the demand for places. Typically an event would be arranged for groups of around 10 people.

The content of a training event is also tailored to meet the needs of the people attending. There are a series of standard workshop style schedules that are used but additional more specific topics can also be included as required.

Our training strategy is still under development and we are working closely with clients at Children Centres and Local Authorities to identify the various elements within the growing training programme.

Our products have evolved and developed to meet the ever increasing reporting requirements and people are keen to make the most of the monitoring and evaluating side of SoftSmart products. Whilst the database fulfils multiple reporting functions, extracting and manipulating data is sometimes a requirement. This not only requires training on the database itself, but the development existing keyboard skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Courses are being developed in recognition of these requirements and the new SoftSmart training events will be announced in the Autumn newsletter.
